The document is a bilingual (English and Spanish) recycling guideline flyer produced by Walker Garbage and Recycling Service for Washington County, Oregon, detailing acceptable and unacceptable items for residential recycling. The flyer is divided into two pages: the first page lists items that should NOT be placed in recycling carts, including plastic bags, plastic clamshell containers, and Styrofoam, while the second page outlines recyclable materials such as plastic bottles and tubs (6 oz or larger), paper and cardboard products, metal cans, and glass bottles and jars. The materials emphasize the importance of rinsing containers before recycling and provide contact information for Walker Garbage (503-531-6330) and the Washington County recycling website (WashingtonCountyRecycles.com).

The flyer appears to be part of an outreach and education effort by the Washington County Solid Waste & Recycling program to improve recycling practices among residents in unincorporated areas and multiple cities within the county, including Banks, Cornelius, Durham, Forest Grove, Hillsboro, King City, North Plains, Sherwood, Tigard, and Tualatin. The bilingual format suggests an intentional approach to reaching diverse community members and promoting proper recycling techniques through clear, visual communication that helps residents understand what can and cannot be recycled.
