About this file
This solicitation seeks design-build services for courtroom renovations. The General Services Administration intends to issue a request for proposal to renovate the 5th floor District Courtroom Suite 521 at the Charles L. Brieant Jr. Federal Building and Courthouse in White Plains, New York. The design-build contractor will plan, design, and construct renovations to the approximately 3,100 square foot courtroom space. Minimum objectives include developing construction documents and specifications, selective demolition, and matching finishes to recently renovated 6th floor courtrooms. Renovations must provide infrastructure for modernized audiovisual, security, telephone, and data systems. The period of performance is 448 calendar days from notice to proceed. The contract will be firm-fixed-price and set aside for small businesses, with a magnitude between $1-5 million. Proposals will be evaluated using best value tradeoff for experience, past performance, staffing, and price.
