About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to IFB No. 304T-25-300CM.2 issued by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) Statewide Procurement Division, with Contract Specialist Monica Suarez. The addendum revises Attachment F specifications for several Kosher/Passover spring holiday food items, including beef goulash, dark and milk chocolate, macaroons, and grape juice boxes/bottles. The key change across all items is updating labeling requirements from "Kosher" or "Passover" to specifically state "Kosher for Passover" and include Kosher symbols on labels where applicable.
The addendum also addresses nine vendor questions related to product specifications and terms. Notable clarifications include: the Unit of Measure (UOM) is by case rather than individual units for quantities, contractors do not have the right to terminate for convenience though CPA may consider requests in extenuating circumstances, and there is only one solicitation rather than two separate bids. The agency declined several requested changes regarding chicken and pork product specifications. The document requires vendor acknowledgment through signature and must be returned with the bid response to avoid disqualification.
