About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to IFB No. 304T-25-300CM.2 issued by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) Statewide Procurement Division, pertaining to Food Products for Commissary services. The addendum primarily revises Attachment F specifications for several Kosher/Passover spring holiday items, including beef goulash, dark and milk chocolate, macaroons, and grape juice boxes/bottles. The key modification requires all these items to specifically state "Kosher for Passover" on their labels rather than the previous requirement of stating either "Kosher" or "Passover" separately.
The addendum also addresses nine vendor questions regarding product specifications and terms. Notable clarifications include: confirmation that quantities are measured in cases rather than individual units, rejection of various product substitution requests for chicken and pork items, confirmation that there is only one solicitation rather than two separate bids, and clarification that contractors do not have the right to terminate for convenience though CPA may consider termination requests in extenuating circumstances. The addendum requires acknowledgment by signing and returning with the response, with failure to submit the signed addendum potentially resulting in bid disqualification.
