About this file
This document is an Addendum to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) for Court Reporting and Transcription Services, Solicitation No. IFB 608-24-96172. The addendum provides responses to vendor questions or clarifications, including whether the services can be performed remotely or require on-site personnel, and whether bidders can submit a response for only one service area (court reporting or transcription) or must bid on both. The IFB indicates that TxDMV intends to make a single award to the bidder providing the best value for the State.
The pricing sheet requires bidders to complete all sections, as TxDMV seeks a single vendor to provide both court reporting and transcription services. There are no specific set-asides or incumbent information provided. The addendum does not contain details on pricing terms, funding requirements, or contract term and renewal options.

# Question TxDMV Response
Attachment A - Addendum 1: Questions and Answers IFB No. 608-24-96172 Court Reporting and Transcription Services
Since court reporting and transcription are separated on the pricing sheet (attachment E), does that allow for bidding on only one section and not both?
Complete all sections of Attachment E Pricing Sheet.
TxDMV intends to make an award to a single Bidder providing the best value for the State. See IFB 608-24- 96172 Section A.8.5 Award Approach.
Both. Meetings can be in-person or virtual. In-person meetings will require the vendor to be on-site while virtual meetings may allow services to be performed remotely. See Attachment D Statement of Work, Section 2.1 Description of Deliverables/Specifications.
Is this for onsite or could it be done remotely?
