The contract duration is 365 days from award, with all materials and work warranted for two years from system acceptance. Contractors are strongly urged to complete a pre-bid site visit, as submission of a bid constitutes acknowledgment of site inspection completion.
This solicitation is restricted to Small Business Enterprises approved for the Master Contractors Central Region contract, with Minority Business Enterprises encouraged to respond. The project classification is designated as "A." All work must comply with state, hospital, and local code standards, with material quality requirements mandated per manufacturer recommendations and applicable industry standards. Contractor selection shall follow the instructions contained in the General Conditions for Construction Contracts (August 2013) and the Instructions to Bidders for Construction Projects (March 2007). Demolished materials become contractor property and must be removed from the site. All storage expenses related to inadvertent manifestations are the contractor's obligation.
