Solicitation DTMA98R20120001 Amendment No. 000005 Questions & Answers

No. QUESTION ANSWER

1 In section C‐5.10.1, modifications to FOS crew compositions are mentioned.

However, we do not see any crew compositions or manning levels in the solicitation for FOS. When does MARAD plan to issue the contract required crew complement for FOS? What is the current FOS manning level for these vessels?

Please refer to the vessel’s Certification of Inspection. COI’s for all three vessels were provided by Amendment No. 2. Under the Performance‐Based Service concept, offerors are expected to propose what they believe to be an optimal crew mix for FOS for the safe, efficient, and economical operation of the vessels in RRF service.
