Section 625. — TURF ESTABLISHMENT

Construction Requirements
625.01 General. Delete the first sentence and substitute the following:
Turf establishment consists of applying fertilizer, seed mixture, tackifier, and mulch.
Construction Requirements
625.03 General. Delete the text of this Subsection and substitute the following:
Apply turf establishment to finished slopes and ditches between October 15 and April 15. Do not apply turf establishment during windy weather or when the ground is excessively wet, frozen, snow covered, extremely dry, cloddy, hard pan, or not friable.
625.05 Watering. Delete the text of this Subsection.
625.06 Fertilizing. Delete the text of this Subsection.
625.07 Seeding. Delete the text of this Subsection.
625.08 Mulching. Delete the text of this Subsection.
625.08A Turf Establishment, Hydraulic Method. (Added Subsection).
(a) Turf Establishment Mixture. The permanent turf establishment mixture is composed of the following components. Apply in two applications placing no more than 50 percent of the mixture at any one application. The application rate must avoid sloughing or washing away the mixture on steep slopes. Adjust application rate to avoid sloughing or washing away the mixture on steep slopes as approved by the CO.
