About this file
This document contains a draft Screening Information Request (SIR) for the National Airspace System Voice Recorder Program. The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking industry feedback on the draft SIR, with comments requested by January 20, 2017.
The anticipated contract would have a 10-year period of performance consisting of a 2-year base period and eight 1-2 year option periods. The SIR solicits the National Airspace System Voice Recorder Program to record and archive air traffic control voice communications for 10 years. Interested offerors are asked to provide any comments on the draft SIR sections attached, which include requirements, pricing, evaluation factors, and contract terms. The Federal Aviation Administration intends to release the final SIR in mid-2017.
