CISP Diagram_Map.pdf

This is a network architecture diagram illustrating the Westover Air Reserve Base information technology infrastructure. The diagram depicts a hub-and-spoke topology centered on a Base Fiber core network cloud that serves as the central connection point for Internet connectivity and the Westover CISP (Cyberinfrastructure Service Platform). The Base Fiber network distributes connectivity to nine remote buildings across the installation through dedicated fiber connections.

Building 1800 DCO (Data Center Operations) at Westover Air serves as the primary hub and is highlighted in red, containing switches, firewalls, and routers that manage traffic distribution. Connected to the Base Fiber core are Building 1204 (Wing Conference Center), Building 1100 (Chapel), Building 1700 (Gym), Building 1850 (Personnel Affairs), Building 7075 (Personnel), Building 7072 (Maintenance Group), Building 3400 (Command Section), and Building 1610 (Base Operations). Each remote building is equipped with access points, switches, and routers to provide local network connectivity. The diagram indicates that external Internet connectivity flows through the Building 1800 DCO hub before distributing to all remote locations, establishing a centralized security and traffic management architecture typical of military base network operations.
