About this file
This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration, applicable to state and local contract opportunities in Nevada. The document pertains to a formal RFP for UPS Service Maintenance, which seeks inspections, corrective and emergency maintenance services for Uninterruptible Power Supply systems and components located in northern and southern Nevada Department of Motor Vehicle Offices. The form serves as a certification requirement for vendors participating in this procurement process.
The certification addresses federal lobbying compliance requirements under Section 1352 of U.S. Code. Vendors must certify that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence federal officials in connection with the contract award. If non-federal funds are used for lobbying activities, vendors must complete and submit Standard Form-LLL, Disclosure of Lobbying Activities. Vendors are required to include this certification language in all subaward documents and require sub-recipients to certify and disclose accordingly. Failure to file the required certification subjects the vendor to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each violation. The form includes blank fields for the solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, signature, and date to be completed by the submitting vendor.
