About this file

Summary

This is a Technology Services Master Plan document prepared by Clackamas County Technology Services (CCTS) for the H3S Sunnyside Clinic remodel project in Clackamas, Oregon. The plan establishes comprehensive technical specifications and infrastructure requirements for a healthcare facility renovation, including the design, installation, and management of voice and data communications systems, video surveillance, wireless networks, fire/life/safety systems, and audiovisual equipment. The document delineates responsibilities between the contractor (CONT), Clackamas County Technology Services (CCTS), Clackamas County Facilities (CCFAC), and the State of Oregon, with the contractor responsible for installing physical infrastructure including conduit, cabling, raceways, racks, and equipment mounting, while CCTS manages procurement, configuration, and ongoing support of network equipment, servers, and software systems. Key infrastructure components include a Main Data Facility (MDF) measuring at least 10 feet by 10 feet with redundant cooling and uninterruptible power supply systems, intermediate data facilities (IDFs) for cable runs exceeding 100 meters, distributed wireless systems supporting 802.11 standards, and a centralized CCTV system using Genetec software with video storage at the DSB Data Center.

All equipment, devices, wiring, and labor costs are specified as project expenses borne by the contractor or county as designated. The specifications mandate Category 6 plenum-rated data cables with blue jackets and Category 5e voice cables with gray jackets, CommScope/AMP patch panels and jacks per county standards, Schneider Electric/APC Netshelter cabinets, Chatsworth cable management equipment, and Bosch cameras for the CCTV system. The plan requires all cabling installation to comply with National Electrical Code requirements and current industry standards, with electronic testing documentation and as-built floor plans to be provided to CCTS upon project completion. An Alertus Employee Notification System must be installed in the facility at project expense, with CCTS responsible for design and programming while the contractor installs all associated wiring and hardware. Annual licensing and maintenance fees are required for each CCTV camera, and access to county network equipment rooms is restricted to personnel with CJIS clearances.
