The Authority is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for a four-year term with a project budget of $260,000. This is a prevailing wage contract. The document establishes comprehensive insurance requirements that must be maintained throughout the entire contract period, with proof of coverage required within ten calendar days of the agreement's effective date and prior to commencement of work.
Contractors must procure full insurance coverage without self-insurance provisions, including: Commercial General Liability with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate; Automobile Liability with a combined single limit of $1,000,000 per accident; Workers' Compensation as required by California State law; Employers' Liability with minimum limits of $1,000,000; and Professional Liability with minimum limits of $1,000,000. All policies must name the Authority as an additional insured, provide primary and non-contributory coverage, and include a waiver of subrogation. Insurers must provide the Authority with thirty days' prior notice of cancellation or material modification and ten days' notice for non-payment of premium. The contractor must include Purchase Order Number 250322 and Senior Contract Administrator Ellis Hoskin's name on all certificates of insurance. Contractors are also required to include identical insurance stipulations in all subcontracts, with subconsultants maintaining equivalent coverage and naming the Authority as an additional insured. The contractor shall indemnify and hold harmless the Authority from all claims, damages, bodily injuries, and property loss arising from the contractor's negligent acts, omissions, or willful misconduct in performing the contract.
