4.0 SYSTEM OVERVIEW
OCTA facilities are equipped with integrated methane gas detection systems consisting of fixed sensors, control panels, alarm and notification devices, power supplies, communication interfaces, and interlocks with mechanical ventilation and monitoring systems. Contractor shall service and maintain all system components necessary to ensure proper detection, annunciation, communication, and response functions, regardless of manufacturer or configuration.
5.0 EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS

Contractor shall document all results and identify any deficiencies or required repairs. A written Summary of Corrections and Compliance shall be submitted to OCTA for review and approval, and a Certificate of Calibration shall be provided upon completion of services.
6.3 System Functional Testing
System functional testing shall verify proper operation of alarm setpoints, audible and visual notification devices, communication with the central monitoring agency, and integration with mechanical ventilation systems. Testing shall also include verification of battery backup systems, including amp-hour testing, and confirmation of proper operation of visual display panels and network connectivity where applicable.
7.0 SCHEDULING AND ACCESS REQUIREMENTS
