About this file
This is a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between Boilermakers Local Lodge #28 and the Boilermaker Employers of New Jersey, establishing labor terms for field construction work in New Jersey. The agreement became effective December 17, 2024, and remains in force through 2027. Either party may terminate the agreement by providing written notice between 60 and 90 days prior to the agreement's expiration date. The document requires signature authorization from both the employer representative and the Union Business Manager, with final approval by the International President. The agreement binds all successor employers and unions to its terms and conditions unless formal cancellation notice is provided within the specified timeframe.
This CBA establishes the contractual framework governing wages, benefits, working conditions, and labor relations for boilermakers employed on field construction projects within the jurisdiction. The agreement applies to employers and workers engaged with Local Lodge #28 and requires compliance with all provisions outlined in the labor agreement. Employers must register with the union and provide necessary documentation including firm name, Federal Tax ID (EIN), contact information, and authorized signatory details. The binding nature of the agreement extends to all related parties and successor agreements, establishing a standardized labor relationship for construction boilermaker services in New Jersey through 2027.
