About this file

The document is a Compliance Questionnaire (BID26402) for an Armored Vehicle procurement by the Oklahoma City Police Department. The bid seeks a new 2025 model or newer armored vehicle with extensive specifications covering general vehicle information, equipment, armor, capabilities, and additional requirements. The vehicle must accommodate 10 fully equipped tactical officers, feature a V8 Diesel engine, have 4-wheel drive capability, and include specialized tactical features such as gun ports, a hydraulic ram, external handrails, and running boards designed to support tactical operations.

The vehicle specifications require comprehensive armor protection capable of stopping .50 caliber and 7.62 rounds, with specific requirements for armor thickness, window ballistic resistance, and structural integrity. The bid mandates a turning radius of 20 feet or less, off-road capabilities, and the ability to operate on streets and highways. Additional requirements include green paint color, "Police" and "Oklahoma City Police" markings, a minimum 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, and preference for local bidders. The document provides a detailed compliance questionnaire where vendors must confirm their ability to meet each specific requirement by marking "Yes" or "No" for each line item, ensuring thorough evaluation of potential armored vehicle solutions.

BID26402 – Armored Vehicle

COMPLIANCE QUESTIONNAIRE

BRAND NAMES/EXAMPLES: Any brand names are used for comparative purposes only. Slight variations from the measurements and sizes given that do not compromise the requirements of the bid specifications will be considered.

The Contracting Entity recognizes that different manufacturers will have their own design of equipment and engineering details, which might deviate from the Contracting Entity’s specifications. The Contracting Entity will consider such deviations, if any, provided the equipment bid conforms to the Contracting Entity’s basic specifications and meets the functional performance, and operational needs of the Contracting Entity. The bidder should, however, spell out clearly all such deviations on the bid and provide supportive literature and specifications. Failure to comply could result in bid rejection.
