About this file
This is a Bid Form from the City of Napa Public Works Department for the Milliken Raw Water Pipeline Hardening HMGP project (Project Number 9017FR20). The document is a standard bid submission form that outlines the requirements for potential contractors bidding on the public works project, including provisions for submitting a base bid, potential alternates, and compliance with various municipal and state regulations. The form requires bidders to thoroughly examine contract documents, certify their responsibility and non-discrimination practices, and be prepared to execute the contract and provide performance bonds and insurance if awarded.
The bid form includes specific requirements such as submitting bid security equal to 10% of the maximum bid amount, either as a cashier's check or bid bond, and compliance with local ordinances like the Napa Municipal Code Chapter 2.92 regarding affirmative action programs. Additional compliance requirements include the Iran Contracting Act (for contracts over $1,000,000) and submission of Certificates of Reported Compliance for off-road vehicles if applicable. If awarded the contract, the bidder must execute the contract within ten days, submit 100% payment and performance bonds, and provide required insurance certificates, demonstrating the city's comprehensive approach to contractor selection and project management.
