About this file

This document is a Davis-Bacon wage determination issued by the U.S. Department of Labor for construction work in multiple California counties, covering Alpine, Amador, Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Lassen, Marin, Modoc, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Yolo, and Yuba Counties. The wage determination applies to building, heavy, highway, and dredging construction projects, excluding certain specific types of work such as water well drilling and hopper dredge work. The document establishes prevailing wage rates for various construction trades and worker classifications, effective from August 22, 2025, and supersedes a previous wage determination.

The wage rates are structured with different pay scales based on job classification, geographic area, and specific work conditions. The document includes detailed wage rates for trades such as asbestos workers, boilermakers, bricklayers, carpenters, cement masons, electricians, elevator mechanics, engineers, glaziers, ironworkers, laborers, painters, plasterers, plumbers, roofers, sheet metal workers, and truck drivers. The rates also incorporate provisions for Executive Orders 14026 and 13658, which establish minimum wage requirements for federal contractors. Wage rates vary by county and work type, with additional premiums for specialized conditions such as high-altitude work, hazardous materials handling, and underground or tunnel work. The document provides comprehensive guidance on wage calculations, including base rates, fringe benefits, and special pay conditions for different construction activities.
