About this file
This is a Bid Form for the Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA) for the Ground Power Unit (GPU) Lifecycle Replacement project. The bid document outlines a project requiring contractors to furnish labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the work. The project timeline includes 170 days for mobilization, either 70 or 110 days for installation (depending on base or alternate bid), and 20 days for close-out. The bid remains valid for 180 calendar days after the bid opening, with the expectation that the contractor will execute the required contract and bonds within 15 days of award.
The bid form emphasizes that quantities in the Schedule of Work and Prices are approximate and used for bid comparison purposes. The lowest Base Bid will determine the lowest responsible bidder for contract award. Bidders must submit a price for each item in the attached schedule, with understanding that any discrepancies in unit prices or total costs will be corrected according to the specified governing rules. The contractor must hold a valid contractor's license, and all work must conform to the Contract Documents, with any conflicts resolved by the order of precedence established in those documents.
