A preliminary notice of intent to award is scheduled for November 23, 2026, with Board approval anticipated on December 16, 2026, and contract execution required by December 28, 2026. The contract term runs from July 1, 2027, through September 30, 2028, with District renewal options for two additional one-year terms contingent on competitive pricing and satisfactory performance.

Pricing must be submitted as unit prices excluding California sales tax and federal excise tax, with all costs for materials, delivery, shipping, and handling included in the bid price and delivered F.O.B. to the District's Central Warehouse. The District intends to obtain maximum funding through the Federal Communications Commission's E-Rate program administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), requiring all vendors to be registered with USAC and provide a Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) and Federal Registration Number (FCC-FRN). Vendors must comply with all E-Rate program requirements and maintain current USAC certification throughout the contract term. The award will be made to the lowest overall responsive and responsible bidder meeting all requirements; however, the District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and accept or reject individual line items. No bid security or bonds are required. In the event E-Rate funding is not approved or only partially approved, the District reserves the right to cancel any or all work awarded under this bid. To effectively operate its network infrastructure, the District is requesting Cisco or fully equal equipment. Please see the Bid Price Sheet for the equipment being requested.

District staff will be responsible for installation and configuration of the network Switches and UPS/EBM equipment.
