From: Zach Sayers Date: April 23rd, 2021 RE: Fish Creek Test Well #1 Executive Summary

Well Background Fish Creek Well #1 was drilled by the U.S. Navy in 1949. This well was drilled to a TD of 7,020' MD, then plugged back and side-tracked to 3,018’ MD with a 7" casing string having been set at 3,017' MD. A productive sand was found at 3,000 feet and produced by pumping on the well at ~12BOPD.

Operations Summary:

The existing well was entered on 3/01/2021 with a plumb bob tools and tagged at 60’ Below Ground Level (BGL). No pressure or flow was observed on the wellbore.

Four days were spent nippling down the existing wellhead, fabricating a new wellhead, breaking down the cellar to allow for rig up, and rigging up the rig and BOPs over the well. On 3/05/2021 the well was entered with a tubing workstring and thawed down to 240’. On 3/06/2021 the well was thawed to 383’ BGL and the well took ~9 bbls of brine until loss circulation seized. At 383’ an obstruction was noted that did not allow for the 1.90” workstring to pass. After continuing to thaw the wellbore for an additional 24 hours, the 11-3/4” annulus valve was opened to atmospheric pressure and the fluid level in the 7” casing dropped indicating a u-tubing effect proving that the two annuli were in communication.

On 3/09/2021 E-line tools were rigged up and a 4-1/2” Lead Impressions Block (LIB) was ran in hole and tagged at 230’. A 5” LIB was ran next with the same tag depth of 230’ BGL. A 1-11/16” weight bar was ran next and was able to get to the lower obstruction of 383’. A final run with a 5.75” OD gauge ring was completed and tagged at 230’ BGL. It is noted that all well work operations experienced heavy contamination of the circulated clear brine with heavy oil and tar while circulating and tripping in and out of the well. It was determined that a downhole camera was not practical due to the inability to clean the well to a clear fluid at the collapse point.

Based on the data collected it is concluded that the 7” casing has several collapse zones due to lack of proper freeze protection and presence of water in the 7” x 11-3/4” annulus. The top most partial collapse is noted at 230’ BGL. The 230’ collapse is smaller than 4.50” but larger than 2.20” (1.900” tubing coupler OD).

Additional partial collapse zones are possible from 230’ to 383” of similar magnitude as the 230’ collapse but cannot be verified without a caliper tool. A nearly full collapse (less than 1.6875”) has occurred at 383’ BGL.

The decision was made that the planned scope of work to abandon the lower zones could not be completed with the tools on location and within the time constraints of the snow trail season of 2021.

The well was circulated from 383’ to surface on both the IA and the OA with clean diesel. On

3/12/2021 a dry hole tree was fabricated to the top of the wellhead for future monitoring and inspection. The rig and well equipment was rigged down and mobilized back to Prudhoe Bay.

Sincerely, Zach Sayers, P.E.
