About this file
This is a Certified Disadvantaged Business Outreach Plan attachment for RFP S-62900-00016394, a Chetco Fuels Reduction project for the Rogue River-Siskiyou area administered by the State of Oregon. The document is a mandatory submission requirement accompanying all proposals and requires proposers to provide detailed information about their outreach efforts to certified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs). Proposers must identify their own certification status under Oregon's certification programs, list previous contractual relationships with certified firms dating back two years, and describe anticipated subcontracting opportunities and their estimated dollar values if awarded the contract.
The outreach plan requires proposers to document the specific steps they will undertake to solicit certified minority-owned businesses (MBEs), woman-owned businesses (WBEs), service-disabled veteran-owned businesses (SDVs), and emerging small businesses (ESBs) for subcontract participation. Proposers must also commit to reporting subcontractor identities and contract values to the Oregon Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID) upon contract award. The submission of outreach information is not subject to scored evaluation; however, failure to complete and submit the attachment when subcontracting opportunities exist constitutes non-compliance with procurement requirements.
