About this file

The document is an Attachment J - Principal Place of Business Letter related to a state and local contract opportunity for Food, Water, and Ice for Emergency Operations (RFP No. 23-93131800-RFP) issued by the State of Florida, Department of Management Services. The letter requires respondents to indicate whether their principal place of business is located within Florida or outside of Florida, and if outside of Florida, it must be accompanied by a written opinion from an attorney licensed to practice law in that state regarding any preferences granted to businesses located in that state for public contracts. The state and local contract opportunity is for the Food, Water, and Ice for Emergency Operations State Term Contract, and has had six addenda posted to the Vendor Information Portal.

The contract opportunity does not provide any details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or other salient information beyond the principal place of business requirements. Interested vendors must submit responses to the solicitation via the Business Network, and any protests must be filed with the Agency Clerk within the prescribed timeframes under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes.
