About this file
This is a Certificate of Data Return and/or Destruction form for Solicitation 2031JW26Q00037 issued in March 2026 by the OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency) for the UCE Sessions HOCL Support project.
The certificate establishes the requirements and procedures for contractors to return or destroy all OCC-provided data upon request. When the OCC requests data return, the Data Recipient must return all copies of data and derivative files as specified in the contract or by OCC request. Alternatively, the OCC may request deletion of data without return. Data destruction must comply with industry best practices and ensure no retrieval or reconstruction is possible. The contract prohibits retention of any data files or partial files unless expressly authorized in writing by the Contracting Officer. All electronic files must be deleted from the contractor's systems, with backup information automatically rewritten within 30 days, ensuring complete removal from production and non-production environments. The form requires signatures from an authorized representative of the Data Recipient (Data Custodian), including project title and Principal Investigator name, as well as certification from an OCC Representative confirming that described data has been returned or deleted in compliance with contract terms. A table is provided to document specific data file descriptions and corresponding years for destruction.
