About this file

This document is Attachment H - Accessibility, which outlines the accessibility requirements for the State of Minnesota's request for proposals (RFP) for a remote continuous temperature monitoring system to be used by the Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) and the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA). The RFP is seeking a configurable/customizable off-the-shelf software solution for refrigeration units in up to eight Minnesota Veterans Homes. Respondents must detail their organization's ability to ensure the State fulfills its accessibility responsibilities as outlined in the State of Minnesota Digital Accessibility Standard, which comprises Section 508 and WCAG 2.1, level A, and AA. Respondents must describe their staff and contractor knowledge and skills, their approach to ensuring accessibility, their development and test tools, their corrective actions process, and provide samples of accessible digital information technology they have developed.

The document does not provide specific pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, or other salient financial information. The focus is on the accessibility requirements and the respondent's ability to meet those requirements within the context of the remote continuous temperature monitoring system being procured by MNIT and MDVA.
