About this file
This document is an Attachment F: Business Requirements for a state and local contract opportunity between the Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) and the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) to procure a remote continuous temperature monitoring system. The system will monitor, alert, and report on refrigeration systems used for storage of dietary and medical supplies across up to eight Minnesota Veterans Homes. The requirements cover features such as network or cloud-based monitoring, the ability to overcome poor network connectivity, support for multiple locations, temperature monitoring capabilities, notification preferences, reporting capabilities, installation and maintenance support, and training. Responders must indicate how their proposed solution meets each requirement and provide detailed descriptions, but should not include any cost details which should be provided separately.
The contract opportunity seeks an off-the-shelf software solution that is configurable and customizable to meet the State's needs. No information is provided on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, or other salient financial details. The contract duration and renewal options are also not specified.
