About this file
This document is a Contractor Bid Package Checklist for West Virginia University, specifically Attachment G - Minimum Qualifications for a contract opportunity involving dry cooler systems installation. The bid package requires contractors to submit several key documents, including a Certification and Authorization Form, proof of at least 10 years of contracting experience under the same corporate name, and documentation for a Project Manager and Superintendent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Bidders must provide three similar project references and submit a manufacturer letter confirming their authorization as an installer/service partner with at least five years of experience furnishing, installing, starting up, and commissioning dry coolers.
The bid package emphasizes detailed project experience documentation, requiring contractors to complete comprehensive forms (Exhibits AA, BB, and CC) that capture corporate history, personnel qualifications, and previous project details. The manufacturer letter must specifically identify the proposed dry cooler model line, confirm the ability to provide standard warranty and coordinate factory start-up, demonstrate competence with glycol piping, electrical systems, and building automation system (BAS) integration, and list at least three representative projects completed within the past five years. The extensive documentation requirements suggest a rigorous pre-qualification process designed to ensure only highly experienced and qualified contractors are considered for the project.
