About this file
This is a Drug-Free Workplace Certification form required by Section 287.087, Florida Statutes, applicable to respondents bidding on the Legislative Tracking and Information Management System contract for the Executive Office of the Governor in Florida. The certification serves as a tie-breaker mechanism, whereby preference is awarded to respondents that certify implementation of a drug-free workforce program. Respondents must attest compliance with six specific requirements: publishing a workplace drug prohibition statement and associated consequences; informing employees of drug abuse dangers and available assistance programs; distributing the prohibition statement to all employees engaged in providing commodities or contractual services; requiring employees to acknowledge the policy and report controlled substance convictions within five calendar days; imposing sanctions or requiring rehabilitation program completion for violations; and maintaining good faith efforts to sustain a drug-free workplace throughout the contract term. The authorized representative of the responding firm must sign the certification, acknowledging that false statements are punishable by law.
No pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, funding amounts, or renewal options are specified in this certification document. The form functions solely as an attestation mechanism for contract preference purposes and does not address financial considerations or contract duration details related to the Legislative Tracking and Information Management System project.
