About this file
This is a Bid Item Schedule attachment for the Sacramento County Department of Airports' SMF Pedestrian Walkway Hub - Flight Paths Public Art Installation Project, a CUPCCAA informal bid solicitation under Contract No. 41015 with a bid opening scheduled for September 2026. The project encompasses the complete installation of the Flight Paths artwork, including ten flight paths, twelve birds, sleeve-joint connections, artwork-side cable connections, rigid attachments and bracing, curtain-wall bird attachments, labor, supervision, rigging, qualified operators, temporary works, protection, means-and-method engineering, coordination, cleanup, and closeout. The Riparian brass wall decor is excluded from this contract scope. The work is defined by contractor-assigned orange-coded scope shown in referenced drawing documents (SD-10 and SD-12), and contractors must comply with all specifications and applicable regulations as detailed in Attachments A through U of the solicitation documents.
The contract is structured as a single lump-sum base bid item with no separate measurement or payment for incidental work. The County will furnish only specialized lift and access equipment listed in Attachment D; however, the base bid price must include all qualified operators and contractor responsibilities associated with safe equipment use. The bid excludes work and equipment expressly identified as County-furnished, Artist-furnished, or to be performed by others. By submitting a bid, contractors acknowledge receipt of all County-furnished equipment information and confirm that their pricing reflects full responsibility for all installation and operational requirements not explicitly assigned to other parties.
