About this file
This document outlines a pest management plan for the Russell Research Center (RRC). It details the monthly spraying and baiting schedule for different areas and rooms within the RRC facility. Spraying occurs on the third Friday of each month in all areas except those noted as exceptions. Baiting only is specified for certain rooms, primarily those used for toxicology, mycotoxins, antimicrobial resistance, and animal quarters. The plan provides room numbers and areas where spraying is allowed, as well as those designated for baiting only. Proper protection and escort requirements are identified for high containment labs. The related federal contract opportunity is for operations and maintenance support services at the United States National Poultry Research Center in Athens, Georgia, to be awarded by the Agricultural Research Service of the US Department of Agriculture.
