PR NAVAIDS GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
Attachment #5
1. SJU VOR (LMM Int’l Airport by the Muniz ANGB premises, Carolina, PR) FAA POC: Carlos Andino 787-360-5890 Frequency: Monthly
Ground Maintenance – Establish a monthly visit to spread weed control (industrial type) to control weeds around the equipment building, approximate 20,000 square feet. Access road bushes trimming must be performed as required to avoid vehicles damages.
2. MAZ VOR and MAZ RCAG (Eugenio Maria De Hostos Airport, Mayaguez, PR) FAA POC: Juan Carlos Gonzalez 939-216-3280 Frequency: Monthly
Ground Maintenance - Establish a monthly visit to spread weed control (industrial type) to control weeds around the equipment building. The grass on the entire perimeter shall be mowed (1,600 square feet for MAZ VOR and 1,225 square feet for MAZ RCAG). The VOR grounds area required a cleared area of trees that can’t be higher than the monitor antennas 1000 feet around the counterpoise.
3. DDP NDB (Vega Baja, Tortuguero, PR) FAA POC: Jose Melendez 787-360-3703 Frequency: Monthly
Ground Maintenance - Establish a monthly visit to spread weed control (industrial type) to control weeds around the equipment building (13,744 square feet). The grass around each antenna guy wire anchor point shall be mowed (375 square feet) and the dirt road from the front gate to the main gate (21,000 square feet) shall be also clean. Perimeter fence shall be clean of debris.
4. SJU TDWR (Punta Salinas Air National Guard Base inside Balneario Punta Salinas) FAA POC: Jose Melendez 787-360-3703 Frequency: Monthly
Ground Maintenance - Establish a monthly visit to trim and spread weed control (industrial type) to control weeds around the perimeter road and behind the electrical transformer (3,500 square feet) approximately 4’ wide. Behind the concrete wall, cut 4 feet spread of grass, bushes, and small trees. Special clean up shall be conducted from the main entrance to the south side of the facility. Any tree trimming required must be performed.
5. SJU OM (Puerto Nuevo, San Juan, PR) FAA POC: Jose Melendez 787-360-3703 Frequency: Monthly
Ground Maintenance - Establish a monthly visit to spread weed control (industrial type) to control weeds from the main gate to the equipment building (12,832 square feet). The grass on the entire perimeter shall be mowed (86,168 square feet). Special tools or trimmers shall be used around the perimeter fence at least 5 feet inside the fence 4 feet outside the fence shall be clean of debris. Special clean up shall be used to wash a drainage that runs from the main gate to the south side of the perimeter. Any tree trimming required must be performed.
6. SJU NXRAD (Guavate, Cayey, PR) FAA POC: Jose Rios-Reyes 787-462-2684 Frequency: Monthly Ground Maintenance - Establish a monthly visit to spread weed control (industrial type) to control weeds on the gravel area. The grass on the entire perimeter shall be mowed (4,452 square feet). Special tools or trimmers shall be used around the perimeter fence at least 3 feet outside the fence shall be clean of debris.
7. SJU ASR (Carolina, PR) FAA POC: Jose Melendez 787-360-3703 Frequency: Monthly
Ground Maintenance - Establish a monthly visit to spread weed control (industrial type) to control weeds on the gravel area. The grass on the entire perimeter shall be mowed (4,047 square feet).
8. Yunque RCAG (Rio Grande, PR) FAA POC: Jose Rios-Reyes 787-462-2684 Frequency: Monthly
Ground Maintenance - Establish a monthly visit to control weeds (No herbicide can be used on site) on the gravel area. The grass on the entire perimeter shall be mowed (1,005 square feet). Special tools or trimmers shall be used around the perimeter fence at least 3 feet outside the fence shall be clean of debris.
9. Pico Del Este ASR (Rio Grande, PR) FAA POC: Jose Rios-Reyes 787-462-2684 Frequency: Monthly
Ground Maintenance - Establish a monthly visit to control weeds (No herbicides can be used on site) on the gravel area. The grass on the entire perimeter shall be mowed (10,845 square feet). Special tools or trimmers shall be used around the perimeter fence at least 3 feet outside the fence shall be clean of debris.
10. Isla Grande (SIG) ATCT (San Juan, PR) FAA POC: Jose Melendez 787-360-3703 Frequency: Monthly
Ground Maintenance - Establish a monthly visit to spread weed control (industrial type) to control weeds on the gravel area. The grass on the entire perimeter shall be mowed (2,428 square feet). Special tools or trimmers shall be used around the perimeter fence at least 3 feet outside the fence shall be clean of debris.
11. SJU RTR (Carolina, PR) FAA POC: Carlos Andino 787-360-5890 Frequency: Monthly
Ground Maintenance - Establish a monthly visit to spread weed control (industrial type) to control weeds on the gravel area. The grass on the entire perimeter shall be mowed (4,451 square feet). Special tools or trimmers shall be used around the perimeter fence at least 3 feet outside the fence shall be clean of debris.
12. CLA MALSR (Ave. Baldorioty de Castro, Carolina, PR) FAA POC: Iancarlo Rivera-Delgado 787-360-4290 Frequency: Monthly
Ground Maintenance - Establish a monthly visit to spread weed control (industrial type) to control weeds from the main gate to station #26. The grass along the road from the front gate up to station #26 and around each station shall be mowed. All debris must be removed from the facility once the service is completed. The area around the perimeter fence shall be mowed or trimmed at least five (5) feet inside and three (3) feet in the outside along the road. Trees trimming must be performed as required. Approximate area of 4,230 square feet.
13. SJU MALSR (Ave. Baldorioty de Castro, Carolina, PR) FAA POC: Iancarlo Rivera-Delgado 787-360-4290 Frequency: Monthly
Ground Maintenance - Establish a monthly visit to spread weed control (industrial type) to control weeds from the main gate to station #24. The grass within the perimeter fence shall be mowed. All debris must be removed from the facility once the service is completed. The area around the perimeter fence shall be mowed or trimmed at least three
(3) feet in the outside. Trees trimming must be performed as required. Approximate area of 3,200 square feet.
14. San Juan CERAP (ZSU) (5000 Carr 190 Carolina PR 00979) FAA POC: Nelson Perez 787- 402-3416 Frequency: Monthly
Ground Maintenance - Establish a monthly visit to spread weed control (industrial type) to control weeds on the gravel area. The grass on the entire perimeter shall be mowed.
Special tools or trimmers shall be used around the perimeter fence at least 3 feet outside the fence shall be clean of debris.
