The Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a design-build contractor to perform improvements and repairs to boilers in Building 260 at Hill Air Force Base, including replacing eight existing boilers with new dual-fuel boilers meeting emissions standards. The estimated value of construction is between $25-100 million. The work must be completed within 730 calendar days and is subject to liquidated damages of $2,053.46 per day of delay. Only the contracting officer is authorized to modify the contract terms. The project will utilize the wage determination for Utah and allow for weather-related time extensions with approval from the contracting officer's representative.
