About this file

This document is a technical specification section for Field Offices and Sheds for the Northport VA Medical Center's Sterile Processing Department Renovation project. The specification details a temporary Sterile Processing Services Trailer with specific equipment requirements, including two Getinge GSS 6713 Integrated Steam Sterilizers, two 86-Series Washer/Disinfectors, an Ultrasonic Cleaner, workstations, and a water treatment system. The trailer must meet precise water quality standards for utility and critical water, with specific parameters for hardness, conductivity, pH, chlorides, bacteria, and endotoxins. The trailer will have a pass-through window, cold-weather package, and must be approved by the Northport VA Medical Center prior to ordering. Construction requirements include portable or mobile buildings with raised floors, weather-resistant exterior, fire extinguishers, and environmental controls for heating, cooling, and ventilation.
