About this file

This is a bid sheet attachment for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the County of Solano, Department of Resource Management, Public Works Division, for hauling and delivery services of road materials. The County seeks transportation of aggregates and non-asphalt materials including road base, engineered rock, screenings, and sand from eight designated plant locations (Capay, Esparto, Madison, Cache Creek, Woodland, Napa, Lake Herman in Vallejo, and Sacramento) to four County Corporation Yards located in Dixon, Vacaville, Fairfield, and Rio Vista. The contract covers an approximately six-month period from January 1, 2026, through June 30, 2026, with an estimated total quantity of approximately 9,000 tons of materials to be hauled. Bid questions were due by December 1, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., with responses provided by December 8, 2025. Final bid submissions were due December 18, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with contractor selection scheduled for December 22, 2025.

Bidders must provide firm and fixed per-ton pricing for hauling and delivery services only, as the County will purchase all materials separately from quarries or plants and material costs shall not be included in bids. Prices must remain firm for the entire six-month contract period. Bidders may offer prompt payment discounts for payment within periods shorter than the standard NET 30 payment term. Prevailing wage requirements are not in effect for this portion of the IFB. Bidders must submit company information, contact details, signatures, and acknowledgment on the bid sheet, which requires pricing for each combination of plant location and destination yard. The County reserves the right to award contracts to multiple vendors and is not obligated to select the lowest bidder but rather the most responsive and responsible bidder.
