About this file
This is a specification document from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) detailing electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure requirements for Straits State Park. The project involves the installation of one Ford Pro DC Fast Charger with two ports near the park entrance to provide convenient public charging access. The charger specifications include CCS1 connectors, 120-ampere dual-port pedestal mount configuration with 20-foot cables, and a rated capacity not exceeding 200 kilowatts at 240-volt AC input. The installation scope encompasses site preparation activities including trenching, concrete pad mounting, and parking stall restriping. The charger will be configured with cellular connectivity to enable remote monitoring and payment processing capabilities. The bidder is responsible for developing the final parking design while ensuring full ADA accessibility compliance and adherence to the charger manufacturer's installation guidelines.
The document does not specify pricing information, set-asides, incumbent contractors, contract term, renewal options, funding sources, or budget amounts. No response deadlines, bid due dates, site visit requirements, or bidder conference details are included in this specification attachment. The focus remains on technical requirements and installation standards necessary to support the EV charging infrastructure deployment at the state park facility.
