About this file
This document is an Antiterrorism Awareness pamphlet for contractors at Edwards Air Force Base (AAFB), providing guidance on recognizing and reporting potential terrorist threats. The document outlines five Force Protection Conditions (FPCON) levels ranging from Normal to Delta, each with increasing security measures and response protocols. Key aspects include identifying suspicious activities such as surveillance, elicitation of sensitive information, security tests, unauthorized supply acquisition, and suspicious personnel movements. The pamphlet instructs contractors to be vigilant, report unusual activities to the Base Defense Operations Center, and follow specific reporting procedures that include providing personal details, location information, and a callback number when detecting potential threats. The current AAFB posture is at FPCON ALPHA, indicating increased security readiness against nonspecific threats with random vehicle checks and increased crime prevention efforts.
