The project requires the supply and installation of 285 Epson BrightLink 1485Fi projectors and 249 AVerMediaGS68-C soundbars across 243 cadet classrooms in Buildings 2354 and 2355. The contractor must install 270 projectors and 244 soundbars, with removal and disposal of 270 existing projectors to the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) at Fort Carson, Colorado. All equipment must be new, unused, current production, with a minimum 10-year lifespan and 20,000-hour life expectancy, designed to support up to 2,000 hours of annual use. Installation must begin no later than October 15, 2026, occurring between 0730 and 1630 hours, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or federal holiday work. The work is organized into four Contract Line Items (CLINs): CLIN 0001 covers equipment supply, CLIN 0002 covers soundbars, CLIN 0003 covers installation of projectors and soundbars, and CLIN 0004 covers removal and disposal of old equipment.
Key technical requirements include ceiling mounting with existing universal mounts where available, wall mounting where ceiling mounting is not feasible, installation of dedicated 120V electrical outlets as required, professional calibration and alignment for optimal image quality, and comprehensive system functionality testing. All wiring must be concealed and maintain a clean professional appearance. The contractor is responsible for complete cleanup including removal of all packing materials, dust, and debris. A minimum three-year manufacturer warranty covering parts and labor is required. Submittals include serial number documentation, calibration test results, instruction manuals in electronic and printed formats with quick-start guides, and warranty certificates. The Government reserves the right to modify the removal/installation schedule by up to 20 percent without mutual agreement, provided adequate notice is given. On-site personnel require USAFA security badging obtained at least one day prior to work commencement, and the contractor bears all liability for damage to buildings, floors, walls, ceilings, and internal components.
