About this file
This is a sample compactor lease agreement document related to Sacramento County's Department of Waste Management & Recycling procurement of full-service operating leases for equipment at the Kiefer Landfill. The agreement outlines the terms and conditions for leasing one landfill compactor, along with two tractor dozers, for operational use at the facility. The equipment is intended for continuous operation up to seven days per week, 52 weeks per year, supporting the county's waste management operations.
The sample agreement establishes the framework for lease terms, equipment maintenance responsibilities, insurance requirements, and operational conditions between the lessor and Sacramento County. Key provisions address equipment specifications, performance standards, and the lessor's obligation to provide full-service maintenance and support throughout the lease period. The document serves as a template for qualified bidders to understand the county's expectations regarding equipment availability, service levels, and contractual obligations, though specific pricing, lease duration, renewal options, and other commercial terms would be negotiated with individual proposers during the procurement process.
