Tank Foundation:
The foundation in in good condition.
*The upper wind rods ans riser rods are rusting badly.
*The catwalk has rust occurring in multiple locations.
*The exterior coatings are failing.
Inspection of accessories:
*Vent is in good condition *The exterior ladder is in good condition. Interior ladder is in good condition.
*The top hatch is in good condition.
inspection of sanitary conditions:
*The tank interior floor had a minimal amount of silt
Inspection of OSHA-related accessories:
*Cable safety climb in place on leg ladder. Top portion of leg ladder is in poor condition.
Inspection of cathodic protection:
*Cathodic protection system should be removed and holes should have plates welded to seal tank.
Interior inspection:
* Interior coatings are in good condition Overflow Protection:
Overflow flap is working properly.
Vent screen:
Screen is in good condition.
Average Exterior DFT
Tank legs: 12 mils, Tank Side Shell: 14 mils, Tank Top: 30 mils, Tank Interior: 16 mils
On July 29th 2019 a visual inspection of the above referenced water storage tank was done. This is a annual inspection to check the integrity of the coating system and components.
The tank was full during this inspection. Only the interior ceiling could be seen. The interior coatings are in good condition.
The exterior coatings are failing. The upper riser rods and wind rods are rusting badly with significant sectional loss occurring. When the tank is rehabilitated some of these rods will need to be replaced. A detailed inspection could be done with ropes to determine what rods need to be replaced for the bids documents if requested. There are also spots of rust occurring on the tank catwalk.

Ladder Gate: Ladder gate in place with lock.
Top Hatch: Top hatch had non utility owned lock, lock was cut off and replaced with utility owned lock.
