About this file

This document is an Antiterrorism Awareness briefing for contractors at Edwards Air Force Base (AAFB), detailing force protection conditions and suspicious activity reporting guidelines. The document outlines five Force Protection Conditions (FPCON) levels ranging from Normal to Delta, explaining security measures and expected actions at each level. The current AAFB posture is at FPCON Alpha, characterized by increased security readiness against nonspecific threats with random vehicle checks and increased crime prevention efforts.

The briefing provides comprehensive guidance on identifying and reporting potential terrorist activities, including what constitutes suspicious behavior such as surveillance, elicitation of sensitive information, security testing, supply acquisition, and suspicious personnel movements. It instructs contractors to be vigilant, report unusual activities to the Base Defense Operations Center, and be prepared to provide personal details, location information, and a callback number when reporting suspicious incidents. The document emphasizes a "Watch, Report, Protect" approach and includes contact information for the Antiterrorism Office at AAFB.
