About this file
This document is a Fiscal Year 2025 Course Catalog for the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Staff Training Program and MAGTF Integrated Systems Training Centers (MISTCs). The catalog provides comprehensive details on formal and informal training courses designed to support Fleet Marine Forces across multiple locations including Quantico, Camp Lejeune, Camp Pendleton, 29 Palms, Hawaii, and Okinawa.
The catalog lists over 15 technical training courses focused on command, control, and communication systems, including courses on Blue Force Tracking, Joint Battle Command Platform, Tactical Common Operational Picture Server, SharePoint Site Management, Transportation Capacity Planning, and various fire support and logistics command systems. Courses range from 1-15 days in length, target different military occupational specialties and ranks (E-1 through O-5), and have varying prerequisite requirements. Most courses do not require a security clearance, though a few specialized courses like the JADOCS Administrator Course do. The catalog also highlights two courses under development: Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) and Agile Client, which aim to provide advanced tactical communication and operational picture capabilities.

LISTING OF INFORMAL (NON-CID) TRAINING
DIGITAL FIRES INTEROPERABILITY COURSE (DFIC)
COURSE IDENTIFICATION DESIGNATOR: N/A
LOCATION. MISTC West and Okinawa
LENGTH. 3- 5 days Resident
Outcome. The primary purpose of this course is to provide collective training and instruction on the integration and interoperability of the fires C2 systems within the Fire Support Coordination Center (FSCC)/Force Effects Coordination Center (FECC). This course could also benefit Tactical Air Control Center (TACC), Direct Air Support Center (DASC), and Air-Naval Gunfire Liaison Company (ANGLICO) personnel and units.
Scope. The course structure is dependent upon the units and their training needs. It may vary from a battalion FSCC to a MAGTF FECC and may also incorporate multiple organizations, e.g., FECC, FSCCs, DASC, TACC. Fires C2 systems may include AFATDS, JADOCS, THSv2, PSS-SOF, and TBMCS. Training outcomes and C2 systems employed are dependent on the unit training goals (which are agreed upon prior to the start of training between the unit and MISTC). Units typically train to specific tasks such as generating and clearing fire missions, clearing airspace, conducting cross-boundary coordination, and passing relevant information between systems at different echelons.
Prerequisites/Target Audience. Prior to attendance, it is recommended that students attend at least one if not more of the MISTC Fires courses (AFATDS Basic Operator Course (CID: KDJ) or JADOCS Operator Course (CID: KDH)). Units must have sufficient personnel trained in the C2 systems they have targeted for employment. Example: sufficient and trained AFATDS operators at the unit and any additional echelons. This is a key factor in the unit and MISTC planning leading up to a DFIC.
Security Clearance. This course is normally taught in an unclassified environment but can be modified to a classified training event. Please contact the providing MISTC location to verify the security environment the class will be conducted in.
