About this file
This is an Appendix A cover sheet for a Request for Statements of Qualifications (RFSQ) issued by the County of Santa Clara Behavioral Health Services Department (BHSD) for Behavioral Health Training Services (RFSQ-BHS-FY25-0176). The County seeks qualified and experienced firms to provide health and professional training services supporting County clinical staff and County-contracted Provider staff. The RFSQ identifies five primary training categories: Evidence Based Practice Trainings (including Motivational Interviewing, ASAM, Solutions Focused Brief Therapy, Co-occurring Disorder Trainings, Clinical Supervision, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and numerous other evidence-based modalities); Cultural Humility and Ethnic Services Trainings; 2SLGBTQIA+ Affirming Care Trainings; Quality Practice Trainings; and Collaborative Care Professional Trainings. Offerors are invited to select all training categories of interest, with the County intending to establish a single Qualified Pool to be utilized in Phase Two for further engagement invitations.
Offerors must meet minimum qualifications including at least two years of experience providing behavioral health trainings to community or governmental agencies and at least two years of consultation experience with municipal and governmental agencies. Additionally, offerors must meet at least two of four supplemental qualifications: holding a current, valid license, registration, or certificate in a related field; possessing a master's degree or higher in a related field; having training, certification, or experience teaching subject-matter related to the course; or having at least two years of experience in a related field. The file contains standard affirmations and certifications requiring offerors to confirm the accuracy of submitted information, their capability to complete contracted responsibilities, compliance with non-collusion requirements, and authorization to pursue any inquiries necessary to substantiate or supplement information provided.
