About this file

This document is Amendment #3 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2025-1200-0229A issued by the State of Alaska's Department of Public Safety, Division of Administrative Services. The amendment provides clarification on the scope of work for an avionics maintenance contract for the state's aircraft fleet. The amendment specifically addresses a vendor question about the lack of detailed work description by explaining that the contract work can encompass a broad range of avionics services, including pitot static tests, troubleshooting avionics equipment, auto pilot replacements, full instrument panel replacements, and software and firmware updates.

The amendment is dated May 1, 2025, and is signed by Calin Logan, Procurement Specialist 2, with contact information provided for vendors who may have additional questions. The document serves to provide transparency and additional context for potential bidders by expanding on the types of avionics maintenance and repair services that may be required under the contract. While the amendment does not provide specific pricing or budgetary details, it offers vendors a clearer understanding of the potential scope of work for the Fairbanks Avionics contract.
