About this file
This Amendment 1 (Revision 1) document pertains to the Vehicle Glass Repair and Replacement contract opportunity for the State of Wisconsin, administered by the Department of Administration's Consolidated Agency Purchasing Services (CAPS) on behalf of the Bureau of State Risk Management. The amendment modifies the original solicitation for regional services to repair and replace broken windshields, side glass, rear glass, flat glass, and other vehicle glass damage across the State's fleet of approximately 6,359 licensed vehicles. Based on 2016 data, the State anticipates demand for approximately 661 vehicle glass repairs or replacements annually. The contract will establish regional service providers to support the State's diverse fleet, which includes general purpose automobiles, motorcycles, farm and construction equipment, and specialized trucks.
The amendment document specifies modifications to contract terms, pricing structures, or performance requirements established in the original solicitation. Key details regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent performance, contract duration, renewal options, and any adjustments to scope or service delivery requirements are contained within this revision. The amendment ensures clarity on bidding requirements, evaluation criteria, and any changes to the original contract framework that bidders must address in their proposals.
