Information: Average FS small rental cabin: Outside wall dimensions 20 ft x 20 ft; 2 doors, 5 windows (24” x 24”). Estimate 4 – 5 days work including mob and cleanup; nearest full service community 20 miles away. No electricity or potable water available.

Demolition of 1960-era vehicle hoist: Work includes removal and disposal of all metal hoist items including chain, cylinders, guide rails, and other attachments and controls. Work also includes removal of hydraulic fluid collection reservoir and containment culvert (est. 175 gal capacity). Contractor shall install one air fitting and connecting plumbing (Government Furnished Material) prior to closure of pit.

Re-establish Concrete floor: Contractor shall close up pit finishing with a concrete floor surface to match existing shop floor. Fill in access pit (estimated 2 ft wide x 13 long ft x 8 ft deep) with common borrow material and minimum of 8 inches of crushed aggregate on top. Compaction of fill to no visible deflection required. Provide all labor and materials to form up and pour 8 inch concrete slab with rebar reinforcement (a 12” x 12” grid full length of pit) to complete pit closure.

· Hoist Removal at Umatilla NF Fleet Shop & Warehouse Compound 1411 SE Byers, Pendleton, OR

· Directions from Pendleton: From I-84 Exit 210 (near Red Lion) proceed north on Hwy 11 to overpass and Court Street intersection with stop lights. Proceed ahead through the stop light; onto Court Place road curves slightly to the right; proceed two block to 12th Street; turn left and proceed ahead one block to Byers; turn right onto Byers; proceed ahead past Washington Elementary School. Umatilla National Forest Warehouse Compound is first left past the school yard. Fleet Shop is first warehouse building on right. Note: Compound is gated and locked weekends and after 4:30 pm on weekdays. Period of performance will be 30 days from the notice to proceed date.
