The solicitation was available from August 9, 2022, through September 9, 2022, at 3:00 PM EST, with sealed proposals required by that deadline. A pre-proposal meeting and site visit were held on August 23, 2022, at Fairburn City Hall (56 Malone Street) and Fire Station #23, respectively. The deadline for submitting questions was September 6, 2022, at 2:00 PM EST. The City anticipated a 21-day evaluation period from September 9 to September 30, 2022, with notice of award issued on October 1, 2022, at 12:00 PM. Protest filings were accepted from September 29 through October 5, 2022, by 5:00 PM, followed by a stand-still period from October 2 to October 12, 2022, and debriefing scheduled for October 15, 2022.
The addendum clarifies that the awarded architect firm is responsible for all commissioning services as part of the project scope, with the option to utilize subconsultants if in-house capability is unavailable. The City does not anticipate systems requiring specialty commissioning beyond standard commissioning scope. The addendum also corrects conflicting due dates found in the original RFP document, establishing September 9, 2022, at 3:00 PM EST as the confirmed submission deadline. No pricing information, funding sources, set-asides, or incumbent contractor details are provided in this addendum.
