About this file

This document is Addendum #1 issued by the City of Casselberry's Procurement Division for RFP-2017-0194, a solicitation for Disaster Debris Removal/Management Services and Ancillary Preparation/Recovery Services. The request for proposal seeks a contractor to provide emergency debris management services, including road clearance, debris removal, debris management site (DMS) management, and debris transportation, with services to be performed in compliance with FEMA, FHWA, and other federal and state agency guidelines. The solicitation response is due on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. local time, with the city reserving the right to adjust contractor assignments and areas of operation within the agreement's scope.

The addendum introduces a new federal registration requirement mandating that the successful proposer obtain and maintain a current DUNS number and CAGE code for the contract's duration. Proposers must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, provide consent for Taxpayer Identification Number validation, and complete mandatory registration steps. The procurement process follows federal procurement requirements as outlined in 2 CFR 200, with contractors required to comply with sections 200.318 through 200.326 and Appendix II to Part 200. Failure to complete SAM registration may result in the city awarding the contract to the next responsive and responsible registered proposer.
