About this file

Addendum No. 1 to the ACC Gate Replacement Project bid documents, issued by the State of Nevada Adjutant General, corrects an omission in the original bid package by adding the required Bid Bond Form (Section 00 41 20). The project, located at 4500 W. Silverado Ranch Boulevard in Las Vegas, Nevada, involves retrofitting an existing manual sliding entry gate to an automated, access-controlled system. Bids are due September 24, 2026, with a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for September 15, 2026. The project is estimated at $250,000 with a contract duration of 45 calendar days. All contractors must acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid proposal form and ensure that all subcontractors account for the changes in their bid amounts.

Bidders must submit a bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, including all bid alternates, using the form provided in this addendum. Alternative bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash is permitted in place of a bid bond. The bid bond must include a certified copy of the surety representative's current Power of Attorney, and non-standard bid bond forms require written approval from the State of Nevada Adjutant General prior to the bid deadline. A standard AIA or substitute bid-bond form will not be accepted without prior written approval. The bond becomes enforceable should the principal fail to execute the Owner-Contractor Agreement and required Performance and Payment Bonds within 15 calendar days of receiving the agreement from the Owner.
