About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the West Virginia State University (WVSU) for the WVSU Carpet Tile and Cove Base Installation Project. The project generally consists of the replacement of carpet tile and cove base molding in various instructional classrooms located at WVSU. The contractor shall be responsible for the removal and installation of new carpet tiles and cove base molding, as well as the movement of furniture and IT equipment. The carpet tiles and cove base molding must meet specific requirements to ensure standardization across the campus. The installation must comply with all applicable regulations and take place during non-classroom hours. The contractor is required to provide a 10% overstocked of carpet tiles, which will become the property of WVSU upon project completion.
The addendum modifies the original specification to clarify the type of cove base molding required. Specifically, the cove base molding must be coved toe (standard base) and rubber in construction, with the adhesive applied using a continuous 3" bead line application method. The addendum also includes an Addendum Acknowledgement Form that vendors must complete and submit with their bid to confirm receipt of all addenda issued for this solicitation.
