About this file

This document is an Addendum to EWEB ITB 22-069-PW, a contract opportunity issued by the Eugene Water and Electric Board (EWEB) for the replacement of damaged transmission poles in the Clackamas County and Oregon City areas of Oregon. The addendum provides clarification on several questions raised, including weight restrictions for accessing certain locations, the correct staking sheet information, and the proper substantial and final completion dates, which are September 30, 2022 and October 7, 2022, respectively. The closing date for the RFP has also been extended from May 10, 2022 to May 17, 2022 due to this material change.

The contract opportunity involves the replacement of transmission poles damaged in the area. EWEB will evaluate the weight and axle configuration of the contractor's proposed vehicles prior to work to ensure compatibility with the existing infrastructure. The contract has a substantial completion date of September 30, 2022 and a final completion date of October 7, 2022. Bidders should submit any questions directly to the Purchasing Analyst, Sandra Hahn.

ADDENDUM # 3

Title: Oak Gove Lake Harriet Pole Replacement

RFP # 22-069-PW

This addendum adds additional information to the original ITB document.

QUESTION & ANSWER

Q1. Is there a weight restriction for driving over the FL Conduit line? (Access to location 3/17)

A1. There is a weight limit but equipment weight and axle configuration of proposed vehicles will be evaluated prior to performing the work and a determination of compatibility will be made at that time. It is not anticipated that routine line construction equipment will cause issues, but if so, it may require a future change order.

Q2. The staking sheet states “no work at location 4/12,4/13,4/15” but the plan and profile calls out work. Which is correct?

A2. The staking sheet is correct - no work at these locations. Structures 4/12 and 4/13 have already been replaced. Structure 4/15 was not identified for replacement in the EWEB’s post fire damage assessment.

Q3. The staking sheet 4/6 and 4/8 but the plan and profile calls out work at 4/4 and 4/6. Please clarify.

A3. The staking sheet is correct, replace 4/6 and 4/8. Structure 4/4 has already been replaced.

Q4. There are two different Substantial / Final completion dates – Please verify the correct completion dates:

Section 00400 section H. acknowledgements, item #5

Substantial completion – October 31, 2022

Final Completion – November 15, 2022

Section 01014 section 1.5 construction schedule/ C Schedule constraints

Substantial Completion – 9/30/22

Final Completion – 10/7/22

A4. The correct Substantial Completion date is 9/30/22 and the Final Completion is 10/7/22, as shown in Section 01014. The potential for delayed completion is also discussed in Section

01014.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME
